Contributions from local residents and businesses are some of the most essential elements to the success of the Sunscreen Film Festival. These contributions come in several forms.
VOLUNTEERS are needed in all aspects of the Festival’s production, from the screening and selection of films to assisting staff on site at the Vinoy during films and presentations. SPONSORSHIPS provide a great opportunity for businesses to interact with our audiences and create a strong awareness of their brand or product. The Sunscreen Film Festival is presented by a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, making all contributions tax deductible. Sponsorships can take the form of monetary donations, products or services. FRIEND OF THE FESTIVAL MEMBERSHIPS are the newest way of helping support the Sunscreen Film Festival and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Film Society. We are currently putting together packages for individuals who wish to make a small donation to support the Film Society’s programming, which will include invites to our special events, guaranteed tickets to the Sunscreen Film Festival and other benefits. ADVERTISING is available in the Sunscreen Film Festival program. All attendees of the Sunscreen Film Festival receive a full-color, magazine-style program as a guide to the Festival’s screenings and events. Extra copies are provided to all filmmakers accepted to the Festival.
