St. Pete’s Star of Stage and Screen, Patrick Wilson, returns to lead Actor’s Workshop as Festival Expands with more Workshops, Classes, Panels and more than 100 Films ST. PETERSBURG, FL. (March 22, 2010) – As last year’s Sunscreen Film Festival proved, celebrating independent filmmaking in Tampa Bay involves more than just watching movies and meeting celebrities. Actors and movie fans and Hollywood hopefuls travelled from as far away as Connecticut and Illinois and all parts of Florida flocking to Baywalk in downtown St. Pete for hands-on workshops in auditioning, acting for film and a chance to meet Hollywood producers and casting agents. More than 12,000 attendees filled the campus environment of Baywalk, taking in the more than 70 films, daily panel discussions and attending exclusive VIP events. St. Petersburg’s Patrick Wilson (Hard Candy, Little Children, Lakeview Terrace, Watchmen) led the Actor’s Workshop with standing-room-only crowds in what has been called “the best acting/auditioning workshop outside of LA.” This year, Wilson returns. And on April 14, 2010, the red carpet will be rolled out for the 5th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival. But at this year’s Festival, which features more than 100 films after more than 350 submissions, Hollywood will shine on the Bay Area brighter than ever before: | | ACTORS WORKSHOPS...
